Awbar (Abandoned Wild Baby Animal Rescue) is holding a basket raffle to benefit their shelter. Please look HERE for more details. Most of the basket items are handcrafted items donated by fellow etsy members. Tickets can be purchased online through the awbar site using paypal. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Tickets need to be purchased by November 14th, 2008. The drawing will be held on November 15th, 2008.
Abandoned Wild Babies Animal Rescue (AWBAR) is run by Amanda Smith. Due to lack of funding, she is unable to accept any animals this year. With some help, she hopes to be back up and running soon.
AWBAR is not state or government funded and is not a NON for profit Organization. AWBAR is not attached with any other organization. This is done out of love for animals. We accept public donations. All of our wild animals that come in are seen by a vet to make sure that they are healthy. They are then treated for any worms or diseases. Also are they are given shots to prevent certain diseases that any animals can carry.
I am a member of etsy for animals on etsy.com. Many of the EFA's members send awbar's etsy shop item donations which they sell in their shop.
